Raiders sticking with Kirk Cousins as they seek to end skid against Jets - [your]NEWS

Kirk Cousins will start for the Las Vegas Raiders as they try to end a four-game skid against the New York Jets on Sunday in East Rutherford, N.J. Raiders coach Klint Kubiak said there is “no controversy,” adding that Cousins is playing at a high level and must keep doing so for the team to win. Las Vegas sits at 3-4, ranking seventh in scoring offense at 26.1 points per game but allowing 28.1, fourth-worst. Cousins threw 16 touchdowns and five interceptions and had 295 yards and two TDs in last week’s 35-21 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, a game marked by defensive struggles that included 416.5 yards allowed during the losing streak.
