The White House had said Trump was on Air Force One when he left, but it reports that he instead switched to a smaller aircraft as a precaution, after intelligence concerns over potential assassination threats. Footage reportedly showed Trump boarding what the White House described as his flight to the United States, then secretly changing plans and taking a smaller Air Force C-32A. The White House said the aircraft would have been the older Boeing 747 configured as Air Force One, and that he then moved to an aircraft gifted by Saudi Arabia in Britain. Journalists who stayed on the apparent flight were reportedly on a decoy.
