Russia attacks Ukraine on evening of July 8 - Air Force

On the evening of July 8, Russian strike drones were reported moving through Ukraine’s airspace, according to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The service recorded multiple threat updates starting at 7:53 p.m., when a risk of ballistic weapons use was announced. At 8:07 p.m., a jet-powered UAV was reported in the Chernihiv region, heading toward Horodnia. Subsequent reports cited UAVs toward Kharkiv from the north at 8:32 p.m. and toward Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region at 8:35 p.m. By 8:46 p.m., enemy tactical aviation activity was reported toward the northeastern direction. The Air Force said there was a threat of aerial weapons being used against frontline regions.
