Scouting New York Jets edge defender Quinton Bell

The New York Jets have added veteran edge defender Quinton Bell to their practice squad, bringing in a 30-year-old who has bounced across multiple NFL teams since being drafted in the seventh round in 2019 by the Raiders. Bell stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 253 pounds. Over 33 regular-season games, he has 38 tackles and one sack, with three starts. His best season came with the Dolphins in 2024, when he played every game, made three starts, and recorded 27 tackles, three tackles for loss, and his first-career sack plus a forced fumble and pass breakup. After signing with the 49ers, he was released in final cuts and later worked out for the Jets earlier this month.
