Seasonal flights to connect Batken and Issyk-Kul
Asman Airlines announced seasonal flight service connecting Batken and Issyk-Kul, aiming to reduce travel time for residents in southern Kyrgyzstan. From July 16 to September 3, 2026, the airline will operate flights on the Batken–Tamchy–Batken route, offering direct travel without transfers and “requiring hours of travel” according to the report. The schedule will run every Thursday morning, allowing passengers to reach the Issyk-Kul coast in roughly one hour on departure day. Seasonal fares start at 6,500 soms. The new service is positioned as a way to improve access to one of Kyrgyzstan’s most popular tourist destinations. In addition, Asman Airlines plans a seasonal winter route between Batken and Karakol during the winter tourism period.
