Selma Blair's representatives say she didn't intend to hurt anyone on flight that led to her arrest
Selma Blair’s representatives say she did not intend to hurt anyone during the Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York that led to her first arrest. In a Friday statement, her team pushed back on what it called inaccurate and unsympathetic portrayals, saying Blair experienced a medical emergency on the Sunday flight and that there was no attempt to open the aircraft door. The statement added that Blair did not intend to harm anyone, and it argued it is “outrageous” to suggest otherwise, citing her multiple sclerosis diagnosis and a related condition called pseudobulbar affect. Authorities had accused Blair of assaulting two flight attendants, a police officer, and a nurse; she pleaded not guilty and is free on bail, with a January court date.
