Sept. 19 PDK Good Neighbor Day adds night aviation airshow

DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) will stage its 2026 Good Neighbor Day Airshow & Aviation/STEM Expo on Sept. 19, expanding the event into the night for the first time. The show runs 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., with performers using lights and pyrotechnics after sunset. Highlights include two U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute jumps: during the day carrying four large American flags for the nation’s 250th anniversary, and after dark with pyrotechnics and fireworks. A nighttime finale features an illuminated aerial performance set, a drone show and fireworks. The expanded Aviation/STEM Expo adds hands-on activities, plus an interactive U.S. Air Force Operation: Shockwave 4D experience.
