Serge Gnabry scores 100th Bundesliga goal as Bayern beat Freiburg to reclaim top spot

Serge Gnabry netted his 100th Bundesliga goal as Bayern Munich beat Freiburg 3-1 to reclaim the top spot in Germany’s league. Freiburg led only briefly after a slick start, but Bayern struck twice before halftime: Dayot Upamecano scored in the 16th minute after an assist from Michael Olise, and Gnabry doubled the advantage in the 42nd with help from Jonathan Brown. Freiburg pulled one back when Vincenzo Grifo’s low cross was turned into an own net by Bischof, yet Olise sealed it late with a goal in stoppage time after taking possession in Freiburg’s half. Bayern made five changes, with Jonas Urbig replacing the injured Manuel Neuer. Upamecano was named man of the match.
