Textron Aviation Marks 500th Cessna Citation Latitude Rollout

Textron Aviation has rolled out the 500th Cessna Citation Latitude business jet from its Wichita, Kansas, manufacturing facility, marking a production milestone for the midsize aircraft. The company said the milestone underscores the aircraft’s appeal among operators worldwide, citing its spacious, stand-up cabin with a flat floor, efficient operation, and strong mission capability. Textron highlighted the Latitude’s performance figures, including a 2,700-nautical-mile (5,000 km) range at high-speed cruise, a 3,580-foot (1,091 m) takeoff field length, and a maximum cruise speed of 446 ktas. The cabin fits up to nine passengers and offers a 1,000-pound full-fuel payload.
