FIFA’s World Cup travels by Gianni Infantino are laid out in figures showing how extensive his air time was during the tournament. An Associated Press analysis of flight logs for a private Gulfstream G650 jet linked to Infantino tracked nearly 60,000 miles and more than 100 hours aloft. The 2026 World Cup spanned three countries, 16 cities and four time zones, finishing with Sunday’s final in New Jersey. The jet, available through Qatar’s government fleet and operated via Qatar Airways’ private charter division, averaged more than one flight per day after a June 9 Los Angeles-to-Mexico City leg. Infantino attended 44 matches, including at least one game at all 16 venues, and visited 21 airports, while a scheduled New Jersey-to-Miami flight was delayed by thunderstorms. FIFA did not comment.
