The Helicopter Company Signs LOI with Bombardier at Farnborough International Airshow 2026 for a Fleet of Up to 60 New State-of-the-Art Jets

The Helicopter Company’s entry into fixed-wing business aviation is being underlined by its Letter of Intent at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, for a fleet of up to 60 new Bombardier jets. THC, Saudi Arabia’s leading commercial helicopter operator and a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, signed an LOI for 12 aircraft: 5 Bombardier Challenger 3500, 5 Global 5500, and 2 Global 8000, with options to purchase 48 additional jets across the same platforms. The signing ceremony took place at Farnborough in the United Kingdom through 24 July. It was attended by THC CEO Captain Arnaud Martinez and Muhammad Ovais Yousuf of the PIF, along with Bombardier leadership including CEO Éric Martel and Chairman Pierre Beaudoin. The move targets growing demand for private and general aviation linked to Saudi tourism and business activity, positioning THC alongside other operators expanding jet charter and management offerings.
