The Helicopter Company Signs LOI with Bombardier at Farnborough International Airshow 2026 announces a move into business aviation with Bombardier. THC, a major Saudi commercial helicopter operator and a PIF company, signed a letter of intent at the Farnborough International Airshow in the UK, running until July 24, seeking a firm order for 12 aircraft. The initial order includes five Challenger 3500, five Global 5500 and two Global 8000 jets, alongside purchase options for 48 additional aircraft across these lines. The signing was attended by THC CEO Captain Arnaud Martinez and PIF Head of Aviation & Security Muhammad Ovais Yousuf, as well as Bombardier CEO Éric Martel and Chairman Pierre Beaudoin. THC plans to operate up to 60 aircraft to serve growing demand tied to Saudi tourism and business activity.
