The Millionaire Next Door Increasingly Flies Private | Aviation Week

The UBS Global Wealth Report points to a massive wealth surge—more than 1,200 new U.S. millionaires every 24 hours last year and over 2,600 millionaires created daily worldwide in 2025—fueling demand for private aviation, including business jets. Aviation Week says analysts are increasingly looking past stock markets to initial public offerings (IPOs) as a leading indicator. Jefferies estimates U.S. IPO activity rose 25% year over year in 2025 to 257 IPOs, while bizjet deliveries increased 14% in 2025. Through June 2026, IPO proceeds nearly tripled 2025’s full-year total, reaching at least $125.6 billion.
