A 28-year-old female guest reportedly tried CPR but could not resuscitate him. Authorities say Siad was closely linked to Epstein and was under investigation for human trafficking, with his death initially reported as cardiac arrest despite claims he showed no signs of illness and boasted of a healthy lifestyle. The Nanterre prosecutor’s office opened an investigation and ordered a post-mortem examination. The case revives questions after Epstein died in custody in August 2019, amid findings by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2023 of prison officials’ “job performance failures,” while ruling suicide.
