The analysis found that by the time Spain beat Argentina for the title, Infantino had flown far enough to circle the globe nearly 2.5 times, using a Gulfstream G650 operated through Qatar Airways’ private charter arm. Starting June 9 from Los Angeles to Mexico City, FlightAware data showed more than one flight per day on average, with multiple days exceeding three. The itinerary included 44 World Cup matches, visits to 16 venues, and stops in New York and Miami, plus travel to Doha. FIFA did not comment.
