U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly left Turkey secretly shortly after attending the NATO summit in Ankara on July 8, amid concerns of an Iranian assassination attempt. The Washington Post, citing reviewed materials and sources including a U.S. official, says Trump boarded the legacy Air Force One while cameras watched, but was moved minutes later to a smaller Air Force C-32A via an airport catering truck. The C-32A, a modified Boeing 757 used for government officials, had been flown in to support the trip. White House communications director Steven Cheung said Air Force One had enhanced security protocols. The U.S. Secret Service declined comment, and the Associated Press has not independently confirmed.
