TUI to operate new route from Cork next summer
TUI will expand its summer network with a new Cork to Palma (Majorca) route, aligning air travel with cruise and beach holiday demand. The airline will operate flights every Tuesday from May 18 until August 31, 2027, using Palma as the hub for connections to Mediterranean itineraries. TUI customers will also be able to sail with Marella Cruises from Palma, the cruise line’s Mediterranean home port. The new service includes seven-night and 14-night beach holiday options to Majorca, with stops across Spain, France and Italy before returning to Palma. TUI’s head of Ireland, Katrina Barry, said the airline is delighted to bring the Cork-to-Majorca service for summer 2027, while Cork Airport’s Tara Finn cited Palma’s importance for Marella Cruises.
