Ukrainian drones strike Russia's Perm, killing one -- Meduza

Ukrainian drones struck the Russian city of Perm on the morning of Sept. 7, according to Telegram monitoring channels. Witness videos published by Exilenova+ and Supernova+ showed an impact on a multi-storey apartment building. Perm Governor Dmitry Makhonin confirmed the attack, saying one person was killed and at least four others were wounded. The Supernova+ channel also claimed the strike hit Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, one of Russia’s largest oil refineries, though the report was not officially confirmed. Ukrainian drones have targeted the refinery before, with a prior attack on Aug. 21 that Zelensky and others had acknowledged. Russia’s Defense Ministry said 306 drones were shot down overnight.
