United Airlines announced new nonstop service between Denver and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos, scheduled to begin this winter. The airline will operate one weekly flight on Saturdays from Dec. 19 to April 24, 2027, making it the only major carrier offering a direct connection between Denver International Airport and the Caribbean destination. DIA said the trip will take about five hours. Providenciales Airport will serve an archipelago of more than 40 islands, known for turquoise beaches and the world’s third-largest barrier reef, where visitors can explore marine life, coral reefs and shipwrecks. United’s new route will be its fifth Caribbean destination from Denver, joining Nassau (NAS), Montego Bay (MBJ), Punta Cana (PUJ), and San Juan (SJU). The announcement followed a Turks and Caicos Islands roadshow in Denver that included Premier Charles Washington Misick and Colorado Gov. Jared Polis. DIA reported that nonstop destinations served by all carriers total 237 worldwide.
