United Airlines Offers Spotify Users a Big Perk (If Your Plane Has Starlink)

United Airlines is letting Spotify users access their own accounts onboard—but only on aircraft equipped with Starlink. Starting this past summer, United’s seatback screens offered a limited Spotify selection, but now passengers can log into their personal Spotify account and resume listening or viewing from home or the airport. The feature works on flights where Starlink is available, which the Starlink tracker says covers about 50% of United departures beginning October. United also offers Starlink tuning through the airline’s system for free after watching a couple of ads. Most new seatbacks support Bluetooth audio.
