United Airlines Unveils 2 New Long-Haul Airbus A321XLR Routes: See Flights Now

United Airlines will launch its first long-haul service using the Airbus A321XLR with two new routes from Washington Dulles (IAD). Beginning December 1, the 150-seat aircraft will fly daily to Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS) and Dublin (DUB), replacing the Boeing 757-200 on the DUB route and the 767-300ER on the AMS route. United said the smaller narrowbody is meant to better match winter demand and support loads and yields in the off-season. Ch-aviation data indicates United has one XLR already, with five more arriving by year-end and 15 in 2027. The cabin includes Polaris suites, Premium Plus, Economy Plus, and economy.
