Vietnam Airlines flight diverts to Pakistan after German passenger suffers seizure
Vietnam Airlines said flight VN35, operating Saturday night from Ho Chi Minh City to Munich, Germany, diverted to Islamabad International Airport after a German male passenger suffered a seizure. Flight attendants provided immediate assistance and sought help from medically trained passengers aboard. After a doctor on the flight assessed the passenger and determined urgent care was needed, the crew opted to land after about six hours in the air. The airline coordinated with ground staff to receive the aircraft, refueled it, and then cleared it to continue to Munich. Vietnam Airlines also arranged travel for passengers who missed connections. The airline cited prior diversions for medical emergencies and advises passengers to monitor health before flying.
