Wizz Air announces new route from Lithuania
Wizz Air announced a new Lithuania–Germany connection with direct flights from Vilnius to Berlin starting 27 October 2026. The carrier, described as the second-largest by market share in Lithuania, will offer fares from EUR 29.99, with tickets already available through its website and the Wizz mobile app. Flights will operate three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Lithuania’s airports authority said the service will strengthen connectivity for travelers and provide more affordable options across Europe. Wizz Air also positioned Berlin as a major destination, referencing landmarks such as the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island, alongside the city’s cultural and neighborhood diversity. Corporate Communications Manager Salvatore Gabriele Imperiale said the route underlines Wizz Air’s commitment to expanding direct travel opportunities from Vilnius.
