Aitech introduces SOSA-aligned 3U VPX Ethernet switch/router

Aitech has introduced the U-C6850, a 3U VPX fully managed Ethernet switch/router aligned with the SOSA Technical Standard for military and aerospace embedded computing systems. The board provides up to 320 Gbps of total switching capacity and supports configurations with as many as eight 40GbE or 32 10GbE Ethernet interfaces. It combines Layer 2 switching with Layer 3 routing, targeting distributed mission systems and high-performance computing where data must move between computing resources, sensors, and communications. The product supports IEEE 1588v2 Precision Time Protocol and includes integrated security features, with low-power, SWaP-C optimization. Aitech positions it for modernization and technology-refresh programs without replacing an entire architecture.
