Amazon's 10-day sale will slash prices on returned and used items

Amazon is bringing back its “Second Chance Deal Days” in the UK, a 10-day event offering discounts of up to 50% on returned, used, and refurbished products. The sale runs Tuesday, September 1 through Thursday, September 10, with thousands of items across categories including technology, gaming, fitness, beauty, toys, and home appliances. Unlike typical new-item promotions, shoppers should expect some goods that were returned, opened, used, or professionally refurbished. Amazon says returned products are inspected, then tested, cleaned, and repaired if needed, with pricing reflecting condition. Brands include Apple, Google, Samsung, LEGO, Ninja, PlayStation, and Xbox. Deals are available via Amazon’s Second Chance section or “Save with Used,” and the event is returning for its second year after launching in 2025.
