Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt's daughter Zahara legally drops dad's last name

Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt is now legally Zahara Marley Jolie after a Los Angeles Superior Court judge approved her petition to remove Brad Pitt’s last name. The court granted the request Monday, and the online docket shows Zahara filed it on June 4 in Los Angeles. Judge Virginia Keeny approved the change on Sept. 28, with no objections recorded. The 21-year-old had already been using her mother Angelina Jolie’s surname publicly, including when joining Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority at Spelman College in 2023 and accepting her diploma in May as Zahara Marley Jolie. Zahara is the third of six Jolie-Pitt children to legally drop “Pitt.”
