Ballots cast in Nevada after polls close, no results reported
xCruzo Brief
Nevadans were still waiting for election results after polls closed Tuesday night, with no results reported as of 11:20 p.m. Pacific time. A check of the Nevada Secretary of State’s Office website showed “Not received” because some ballots were still being cast hours after the 7 p.m. deadline. Under Nevada law, voters who were in line at 7 p.m. were allowed to vote. As a result, there were no reported outcomes for the gubernatorial race between Republican Gov. Joe Lombardo and Democratic Attorney General Aaron Ford, nor for attorney general, secretary of state, four congressional contests, legislative races, or judicial elections. Local officials shared videos of long lines continuing into late night, including in Clark County.
