Battlestar Galactica Officially Introduces A Whole New Crew

Battlestar Galactica is expanding its game universe with Scattered Hopes, a new project that introduces a completely different crew of Colonial survivors. The story is set in the immediate aftermath of the “Fall of the Twelve Colonies,” during the Cylons’ surprise attack, building on the established timeline of the 2004 reboot and tying back to events depicted in the 2003 miniseries. Players command this new fleet as they try to find the Galactica while making choices about personnel and resources and avoiding waves of Cylon attacks in a roguelite-style loop. The game also uses procedurally generated narrative events, so each run can change details. Familiar characters like Commander William Adama and Kara “Starbuck” Thrace appear, though the focus shifts.
