Instead of a standalone, fully buildable Thunderhawk gunship, Warhammer unveiled the “Thunderhawk Impact Site,” a terrain kit that breaks the transport into multiple ruined sections designed to be scattered on the battlefield. The reveal, teased as “Revealed: The plastic Thunderhawk gunship,” was described by fans as a “top tier shitposting” bait-and-switch, echoing long-standing demand for a cheaper plastic version after earlier Thunderhawks were limited to smaller games or expensive metal/resin models. Warhammer says the kit is still “way off,” though it could appear in photos for the upcoming Space Marine Codex.
