In East Neuk, Pittenweem’s working fishing port has about 30 small trawlers and creel boats, with daily catches sold at a covered quay market and served at venues such as Dory Bistro, Chip Ahoy and the Larachmhor pub. Its Victorian swimming pool reopened in 2021 after help from the West Braes Project. Visitors can also join an early-August arts festival with exhibits by nearly 200 artists.
