Body of man recovered amid search for missing fishing boat

The body of a man has been recovered during a search for a missing fishing boat in the Outer Hebrides, off the coast of Port of Ness on the Isle of Lewis. Emergency services are looking for the vessel and the two other men onboard, after the boat was reported missing at around 11:35pm on Tuesday. Formal identification of the recovered man has not yet taken place, but the families of all three have been informed and are being supported by officers from Police Scotland. HM Coastguard says an aircraft, two helicopters, six rescue teams and a local vessel are involved, and the RNLI has deployed its Lochinver all-weather lifeboat amid strong gusts of wind and heavy rain.
