Brewers-Rays will produce a first-time champion, and maybe the first all-indoor World Series

The Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays will meet in a best-of-seven World Series starting Friday night in Milwaukee, featuring two clubs seeking their first championship and a possible first all-indoor Fall Classic. It’s the first World Series between title-less teams since 1980 and only the second since 1910. Milwaukee comes in after sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in the NL Championship Series, while Tampa Bay won the AL pennant by defeating Cleveland in six games. The pitching matchup could include Rays ALCS MVP Freddy Peralta and Drew Rasmussen, both tied to former Brewers. Key lineup anchors include Brewers’ Jackson Chourio and Rays’ Junior Caminero.
