Calvert County Watermen's Festival Returns To Solomons

Solomons, Maryland’s Calvert County Watermen’s Festival and Boat Docking Competition returns for its 25th year on Sunday, Sept. 20, running from noon until the last boat clears the harbor at Watermen’s Wharf, 168 Williams St. Admission is free. Organizers say the milestone brings added fanfare to a fixture for the end of summer on the Patuxent. Docking teams will compete with events such as rope tying, while hoops are part of the individual competition. Workboats and charter boats race separately, with cash prizes and trophies tied to the 2026 Xtreme Boat Docking series.
