Colorado residents can use mobile driver's license to get through airport security across U.S.

Colorado residents can now use a phone-based mobile driver’s license to pass TSA airport security checkpoints across the U.S., following a statewide launch announced by Gov. Jared Polis. The myColorado Mobile Driver License went live at Denver International Airport on Monday at a TSA checkpoint. Passengers will be able to scan a QR code at security, similar to how boarding passes work. The app is part of the MyColorado mobile platform, which already stores documents including a driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance cards. TSA still recommends travelers carry a physical ID as a backup.
