Danny Tommo to appear in court charged over alleged Channel boat slashing

Danny “Tommo” Tommo, a 37-year-old far-right activist, is due to appear in court after being charged with criminal damage over an alleged attack on a boat in the English Channel. Hampshire Police said the case follows an allegation that the boat was damaged while an emergency responder was on board. The same Thursday, he was also charged with failing to disclose a PIN to police under Section 53 of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000. He was remanded to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Friday. The charges came after several hundred protesters gathered outside a police investigation centre.
