Exit signs start to show “President Donald J. Trump International Airport” as Florida’s Palm Beach airport moves closer to its official renaming on July 9, 2026. Drivers began noticing updated signage on Thursday, with the most visible changes along Interstate 95. The airport is scheduling additional rebranding updates inside the terminal in the lead-up to the switch. The renaming is set to take effect on July 9, while the airport’s three-letter code used for reservations and flight information is expected to remain PBI until Aug. 18. After that date, it is scheduled to transition to DJT. Airport officials thanked passengers for their support during the changeover, citing continued patience throughout the transition.
