Farage and Le Pen's prodigy Bardella sign pact to 'stop small boats forever'

Nigel Farage and Jordan Bardella, president of France’s National Rally, signed a “memorandum of understanding” at Reform UK’s party conference in Birmingham, pledging to “stop small boats forever.” Farage said the pact would usher in a new “entente cordiale” between the UK and France if Reform and National Rally win their next national elections. Bardella described it as “the beginning of the co-operation” and promised that, with Marine Le Pen as France’s president in 2027, France would ensure it is “no longer the gateway for illegal migration into the United Kingdom.” Bardella also vowed to “break the smuggler business model.”
