Fifteen boats deployed this summer to clean the coastline from Torremolinos to Marbella | Sur in English

Fifteen cleaning boats have been deployed along the Costa del Sol coastline from Torremolinos to Marbella for the summer campaign. The fleet includes four coastal boats that operate up to six nautical miles offshore with five cubic metres of capacity for solids and liquids, and 11 nearshore vessels that work from the shoreline to half a nautical mile with one cubic metre capacity and ecological outboard motors. In addition, seven-cubic-metre containers have been installed in fishing ports as a preventative measure against illegal dumping. Operations run from 1 June to 31 August, seven days a week, with set hours daily.
