Force will be met with force': Nigel Farage says the risk small boats pose to Britain is 'just too high' | LBC
Nigel Farage told LBC that Britain must respond to small-boat migration with “force,” arguing the risk posed by the crossings is “just too high.” Speaking to Nick Ferrari, the Reform leader said he has raised concerns about Iranian operatives being smuggled into the UK via small boats, citing alleged links to an attempted terror attack on a Jewish synagogue in Manchester and to the US decision to remove bomber aircraft from RAF Fairford. He said a Reform government would pick up people arriving in that way and return them to France, adding: “If there is, force will be met with force.” The comments came after Robert Jenrick suggested deploying the Royal Navy in the Channel, including the use of lethal force, while Andy Burnham said crossings are falling under the current government.
