General Staff: Russia has lost 1,488,200 troops in Ukraine since Feb. 24, 2022

Ukraine’s General Staff reported on Aug. 31 that Russia has lost around 1,488,200 troops since the start of its full-scale invasion on Feb. 24, 2022. The tally includes 1,600 casualties suffered by Russian forces over the previous day.
