Giannis Antetokounmpo shared new photos with Klay Thompson and several Miami Heat teammates during a team-bonding trip by boat, posting on Friday on Instagram “with Captain Klay.” In a second captioned photo, Antetokounmpo and Thompson appeared together with the line, “Critics have seats. Champions have scars.” The Heat’s preparations include opening training camp Sept. 29 and starting the preseason Oct. 3 against the Toronto Raptors in Quebec City. Miami’s regular-season opener is set for Oct. 21 versus the Minnesota Timberwolves, where Antetokounmpo could make his debut. The offseason included a near overhaul, including departures of Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kel’el Ware.
