Giants acquiring defensive tackle in trade with Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants have reportedly completed a trade for defensive tackle C.J. Okoye. Citing NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Giants would acquire Okoye in exchange for a 2028 seventh-round pick. The deal is framed as another reunion with head coach John Harbaugh, who coached Okoye during his time in Baltimore. For New York, the defensive tackle position was already a concern heading into the offseason and became more urgent after a trade involving Dexter Lawrence to the Cincinnati Bengals, followed by injuries to the group including Roy Robertson-Harris, who landed on injured reserve. Okoye has played in 13 games, recording 15 tackles and grades from Pro Football Focus that reflect work in pass rush and run defense.
