Gold Fields Backs 2026 Guidance After Third-Quarter Update
xCruzo Brief
Gold Fields said it is on track to meet the upper end of its 2026 production guidance after reporting steady third-quarter results. Attributable gold-equivalent production fell 3% year on year to 605,000 ounces. All-in sustaining costs rose 26% from a year earlier to $1,965/oz, with the miner pointing to higher gold price-linked royalties, stronger producer-currency effects and higher input costs, alongside lower year-on-year gold sales. Net debt increased to $981 million by the end of September after an interim dividend and share buybacks. Gold Fields backed its 2026 target range of 2.4 million to 2.6 million ounces at the upper end.
