Got a superyacht? This $70 million California estate has room for one
A $69.998 million Newport Beach estate on Linda Isle is seeking a buyer with enough waterfront access to berth a superyacht. The modern home spans 9,179 square feet across two stories plus a basement, offering five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, with an open floor plan designed for both a beach residence and a gallery to display a major art collection. According to records, a family trust bought the property for $9.5 million in September 2009. The rebuild was completed in 2024 after developers took the existing house down to the studs. A building permit lists biotech billionaire Ming Hsieh as the owner, with the property held in a trust bearing his name. The estate’s 104 feet of waterfront includes a private dock that can handle a 130-foot yacht and a 70-foot vessel at the same time.
