Heart's Nancy Wilson On The 50-Year Legacy Of The Band's Debut LP 'Dreamboat Annie'

Nancy Wilson reflected on Heart’s debut album “Dreamboat Annie” after it was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame 50 years after release. Speaking around the 2026 Annual Grammy Hall of Fame Gala in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton, Wilson said the original lineup reunited for the honor and that the band played three songs from the record. Released in 1975 through Vancouver indie Mushroom Records and issued in the U.S. the next year, “Dreamboat Annie” launched Heart’s hard rock and folk blend, including “Magic Man” and “Crazy on You.” Wilson also pointed to “Little Queen” and “Dog and Butterfly” as other definitive works, while the Wilson sisters have toured and made new music since reuniting in 2023.
