Joe Gibbs Racing wants Spire, Gabehart to produce race setups

Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) is asking a court to compel Spire Motorsports and team figure Chris Gabehart to produce specific technical documents tied to the ongoing lawsuit and countersuit between the parties. According to the filing, JGR wants Spire to turn over its final 2025 and 2026 race setup decisions made at each event. JGR argues depositions show Gabehart shared JGR proprietary information with Spire. The dispute includes testimony from Spire technical director Dax Gerringer and crew chief Travis Peterson, with JGR pointing to alleged prior tire pressure and spring settings used at JGR. JGR also cites claims that Gabehart attended post-race competition meetings at multiple events from Kansas to Atlanta and the Dover All-Star Race.
