Key OSU defender sidelined for Saturday's game vs. Bobcats

Oregon State will be without starting safety Sailasa Vadrawale III for Saturday’s game against Texas State, according to the team’s Thursday player availability report. Vadrawale has recorded 24 tackles, two interceptions and five pass breakups this season. In his absence, Oregon State is expected to start Jaheim Patterson, Harlem Howard or Xander Chisolm at deep safety. The Beavers also downgraded receiver Eddie Freauff (foot) to out for the second straight week. Defensive tackle Tevita Pome’e remains questionable. Offensive tackle Jacob Anderson and cornerback Isaiah Houi are listed as probable. Oregon State enters at 5-3 overall and 3-1 in Pac-12 play.
