Lamine Yamal Age 2026: 19 and Already a World Cup Winner - Guide Net Worth

Lamine Yamal turned 19 on July 13, 2026, and that timing placed him mid-tournament as Spain’s FIFA World Cup ran through his birthday week, days before he lifted the trophy. Born July 13, 2007, he is now Barcelona’s youngest captain ever and, in 2026, captained the club for the first time. His record run began with a Barcelona debut at 15, then becoming Spain’s youngest player and scorer at 16. At 17 he won Euro 2024 and was named Young Player. At 18 he finished runner-up for the 2025 Ballon d’Or. A reported €1 billion release clause extends his contract to 2031.
