Local arts organizations receive funding through READI 2.0
Local arts organizations are getting READI 2.0 support, including the Logansport Art Association’s $375,000 grant announced Monday for the 2026 Arts and Culture Awards. The funding backs the Mary Asplet Pottery Barn Revitalization project, aimed at replacing a structure described as critically deteriorated with a regional ceramics and glass arts hub. The plan includes creating a 100% handicap-accessible space with updated HVAC, plumbing, and a dedicated ADA bathroom to remove physical barriers. The grant is described as covering the entire project cost and enabling instruction for artists of all ages, from wheel throwing and slab construction to glass fusing and bead making. Indiana also announced $1.25 billion in statewide arts and culture investment under READI 2.0, across 15 regions.
