Mid-September heat doesn’t stop fishing in Arkansas mountain streams, where bass and trout can be taken when there’s enough water. The piece points to long float trips on parts of the Buffalo National River, Kings River, Strawberry River and other Ozark waterways, and notes some Ouachita Mountain sections of the Caddo and Ouachita rivers remain paddlable.
